How to use your H2Out Dehumidifier:
Choose the proper sized unit and place in the area to dry. The desiccant beads are blue when dry and turn pink as they pull moisture from the air. These units will protect for 30-60 days before recharging is necessary. The beads start turning pink quickly, but that is only the outside layers of the desiccant. Let the unit remain for 4-6 weeks between regenerations.
How to regenerate your H2Out Dehumidifier:
Space dryer regeneration is easy and simple in an electrically heated oven, 2-3 hours at 250°F to 300°F. However if that is not available, the following methods are recommended.
Simply place the unit in an oven* for two-three hours at 300°F (149°C). The pink will disappear and turn blue again. After the unit has cooled, it is ready for re-use.
*Electric oven (3 hours) and Convection and Toaster ovens (2 hours)
DO NOT MICROWAVE. CAREFUL: UNIT WILL BE HOT WHEN REMOVED FROM OVEN
